Little Turtle
Little Turtle was a prominent leader of the Miami tribe in the late 18th century. He is best known for his role in the Northwest Indian War, where he led Native American forces against American expansion into their territories. Little Turtle was born around 1752 in what is now Ohio. He played a crucial role in several battles, including the Battle of the Wabash in 1791, which resulted in a significant defeat for American forces. His efforts were aimed at protecting Native American lands from encroachment by settlers.
