Little Iliad
The "Little Iliad" is an ancient Greek epic poem attributed to the poet Lesches. It is part of the Epic Cycle, a collection of poems that narrate the events surrounding the Trojan War. The poem focuses on the aftermath of the war, particularly the fate of the Greek hero Achilles and the fall of Troy.
Unlike the more famous Iliad by Homer, the "Little Iliad" is less well-preserved and survives only in fragments. It explores themes of heroism, fate, and the consequences of war, providing insights into the characters and events that shaped the legendary conflict between the Greeks and Trojans.
