Ligers
A liger is a hybrid animal that results from the mating of a male lion and a female tiger. Ligers are known for their large size, often growing larger than either parent species. They typically inherit physical traits from both lions and tigers, such as a tawny coat with faint stripes.
Ligers are usually found in captivity, as their natural habitats do not overlap. They are not a distinct species and are considered a product of selective breeding. Due to their mixed genetics, ligers can face health issues and are often unable to reproduce.
