Liberty JN-4
The Liberty JN-4, commonly known as the "Jenny," was a biplane used primarily during World War I. Designed by the Liberty Aircraft Company, it featured a simple structure and was powered by a Liberty L-12 engine. The aircraft became popular for training pilots and for civilian use after the war, marking a significant development in early aviation.
With a wingspan of about 43 feet, the Liberty JN-4 was known for its stability and ease of handling. It could carry two passengers and was often used for barnstorming and aerial shows in the 1920s, contributing to the growth of the aviation industry in the United States.
