Curtiss JN-4
The Curtiss JN-4, commonly known as the "Jenny," was a biplane designed by the Curtiss Aeroplane Company during World War I. It first flew in 1915 and became one of the most popular training aircraft of the era. The Jenny was known for its simple design, which made it easy to fly and maintain, helping to train thousands of pilots.
With a wingspan of 43 feet and a top speed of around 75 miles per hour, the JN-4 was powered by a OX-5 V-8 engine. After the war, many surplus Jennys were used for barnstorming and mail delivery, solidifying its place in aviation history.
