Leo von Klenze
Leo von Klenze (1784–1864) was a prominent German architect and painter known for his neoclassical style. He played a significant role in shaping the architectural landscape of Munich, where he designed several important buildings, including the Glyptothek and the Walhalla memorial. His work often reflected the ideals of ancient Greek and Roman architecture.
In addition to his architectural contributions, von Klenze was also involved in urban planning and served as a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. His influence extended beyond architecture, as he was a key figure in the cultural development of Bavaria during the 19th century.
