Leander
Leander is a figure from ancient Greek mythology, known for his tragic love story with Hero, a priestess of Aphrodite. According to the myth, Leander would swim across the Hellespont every night to be with Hero, guided by a light from her tower. Their love was passionate but ultimately doomed.
The tale of Leander and Hero symbolizes the themes of love and sacrifice. When a storm extinguished the light guiding him, Leander drowned in the sea. Heartbroken, Hero took her own life, making their story a poignant reminder of the power and peril of love.
