Later Liang
The Later Liang was a short-lived dynasty that ruled in northern China from 907 to 923 AD. It was founded by Zhao Kuangyin, who established the dynasty after the fall of the Tang Dynasty. The Later Liang is known for its role in the fragmentation of China during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, a time marked by political instability and regional warlordism.
The dynasty's capital was located in Kaifeng, which became a cultural and political center. Despite its brief existence, the Later Liang set the stage for subsequent dynasties and influenced the development of Chinese governance and military organization during this tumultuous era.
