On October 1, 2017, a mass shooting occurred during the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. A gunman opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, targeting concertgoers. The attack resulted in 58 deaths and over 800 injuries, making it one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history.
