Lao Tzu (Taoism)
Lao Tzu, an ancient Chinese philosopher, is best known as the founder of Taoism, a spiritual and philosophical tradition. He is traditionally believed to have lived in the 6th century BCE and is credited with writing the Tao Te Ching, a foundational text that outlines the principles of living in harmony with the Tao, or "the Way."
Taoism emphasizes simplicity, humility, and compassion, encouraging individuals to align themselves with the natural flow of the universe. Lao Tzu's teachings advocate for a balanced life, promoting the idea that one should embrace spontaneity and the interconnectedness of all things.
