Langrenus
Langrenus is a prominent lunar impact crater located on the Moon's surface. It measures about 133 kilometers in diameter and is characterized by its well-defined circular shape and steep walls. The crater is named after the 17th-century Flemish astronomer Michel Langrenus, who made significant contributions to lunar cartography.
The floor of Langrenus is relatively flat and features several smaller craters, which were formed by subsequent impacts. The surrounding area is marked by rays of ejecta, which are bright streaks created when the crater was formed. This makes Langrenus an interesting site for lunar studies and observations.
