Landlocked Developing Countries
Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) are nations that do not have direct access to the ocean and are classified as developing economies. These countries often face unique challenges, such as limited trade opportunities, higher transportation costs, and reliance on neighboring countries for access to ports.
As of now, there are 32 LLDCs, including countries like Mali and Nepal. These nations typically struggle with economic growth and development due to their geographical disadvantages, which can hinder their ability to participate fully in global trade and attract foreign investment.
