Lake Miwok
Lake Miwok is a small, seasonal lake located in northern California. It is situated within the boundaries of the Point Reyes National Seashore and is part of the Miwok territory, a Native American group known for their rich cultural heritage. The lake is primarily fed by rainfall and is surrounded by diverse vegetation, providing habitat for various wildlife species.
The lake is named after the Miwok people, who historically inhabited the region. During the rainy season, Lake Miwok fills with water, attracting migratory birds and other animals.
