Lagrange Point 3
Lagrange Point 3 is one of five specific locations in space where the gravitational forces of two large bodies, like the Earth and the Moon, create a stable point for smaller objects. At this point, the gravitational pull from both bodies and the centrifugal force balance out, allowing a satellite or spacecraft to maintain a stable position relative to the two larger bodies.
Located on the opposite side of the Moon from the Earth, Lagrange Point 3 is not commonly used for missions due to its position. However, it is an interesting area for scientific study and could potentially serve as a location for future space exploration or observation.
