Lady Mary Grey
Lady Mary Grey was born in 1545 and was a member of the English royal family, being the younger sister of Lady Jane Grey, the nine-day queen. She was the daughter of Henry Grey, 1st Duke of Suffolk and Lady Frances Brandon. After her sister's execution, Mary lived a relatively quiet life, often overshadowed by her more famous relatives.
In 1565, Lady Mary Grey married Thomas Keyes, a man of lower social standing, which caused a scandal. Their marriage was disapproved of by the royal family, leading to her imprisonment. She died in 1578, leaving behind a legacy tied to the tumultuous history of the Tudor dynasty.
