Edward VI of England
Edward VI of England was the son of Henry VIII and Jane Seymour, born on October 12, 1537. He became king at the age of nine after his father's death in 1547. His reign was marked by significant religious reforms, as he was a strong supporter of the Protestant Reformation.
Edward's rule lasted until his death in 1553, when he was just 15 years old. Due to his young age, a council of regents governed on his behalf. His short reign saw the introduction of the Book of Common Prayer and the establishment of the Church of England as a Protestant church.
