Ladislaus IV of Hungary
Ladislaus IV of Hungary, also known as Ladislaus the Cuman, was a king who ruled from 1272 to 1290. He was born in 1262 and was the son of Stephen V of Hungary. His reign was marked by conflicts with the Cuman people, a nomadic group that had settled in Hungary, and he sought to integrate them into his kingdom.
Ladislaus IV faced challenges from the nobility and struggled to maintain control over his realm. His reign ended when he was assassinated in 1290, leading to a power vacuum and further instability in Hungary. His death marked the end of the Árpád dynasty's direct rule.
