Ladislaus III of Hungary
Ladislaus III of Hungary was a king who ruled from 1440 to 1457. He was born in 1424 and became king at a young age after the death of his father, Sigismund of Luxembourg. His reign was marked by conflicts with the Ottoman Empire and internal struggles within Hungary.
Ladislaus III is also known for his involvement in the Battle of Varna in 1444, where he led a Christian coalition against the Ottomans. Unfortunately, he was killed in this battle, which had significant consequences for Hungary and the region's power dynamics. His death left Hungary vulnerable to further Ottoman advances.
