La Meca
La Meca, or Mecca, is a city in Saudi Arabia and is considered the holiest city in Islam. It is the birthplace of the Prophet Muhammad and the site of the Kaaba, a cube-shaped structure located in the Masjid al-Haram mosque. Every year, millions of Muslims travel to La Meca to perform the Hajj, a pilgrimage that is one of the Five Pillars of Islam.
The city has a rich history and is a center for Islamic culture and education. In addition to the Hajj, La Meca is also a destination for Umrah, a lesser pilgrimage that can be undertaken at any time of the year. The city's significance in Islam makes it a focal point for Muslims around the world.
