LNG Transportation
LNG Transportation refers to the process of moving liquefied natural gas from production sites to consumers. This involves cooling natural gas to about -162 degrees Celsius, turning it into a liquid that takes up much less space, making it easier and more efficient to transport.
The transportation typically occurs via specialized ships known as LNG carriers, which are designed to keep the gas in its liquid state. Once it reaches its destination, the LNG is regasified and distributed through pipelines for use in homes, industries, and power generation.
