Krahn people
The Krahn people are an ethnic group primarily found in Liberia and Ivory Coast. They speak the Krahn language, which is part of the Kwa language family. Traditionally, the Krahn are known for their agricultural practices, cultivating crops like rice and cassava, and they have a rich cultural heritage that includes music and dance.
Historically, the Krahn people have faced challenges, particularly during the Liberian Civil Wars, which affected their communities and livelihoods. Despite these difficulties, they continue to maintain their cultural identity and traditions, contributing to the diverse tapestry of West African societies.
