Kori Bustard
The Kori Bustard is a large bird native to the grasslands and savannas of Africa. It is known for its impressive size, being one of the heaviest flying birds, with males weighing up to 18 kg (40 lbs). The bird has a distinctive appearance, featuring a long neck, a stout body, and a unique plumage that includes a mix of gray and brown feathers.
Kori Bustards are omnivorous, feeding on a diet that includes insects, small mammals, and plants. They are ground-dwelling birds, often seen walking or running rather than flying.
