Great Bustard
The Great Bustard is a large bird native to Europe and parts of Asia. It is known for its impressive size, with males weighing up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and having a wingspan of about 2.5 meters (8 feet). These birds prefer open grasslands and agricultural fields, where they can find food such as seeds, insects, and small plants.
During the breeding season, male Great Bustards perform elaborate displays to attract females, showcasing their striking plumage and vocalizations. They are considered a vulnerable species due to habitat loss and hunting, leading to conservation efforts aimed at protecting their populations in the wild.
