Korean Pine
Korean Pine is a coniferous tree native to the Korean Peninsula and parts of northeastern China and Russia. It typically grows to heights of 20 to 30 meters and has a straight trunk with a conical crown. The tree is known for its long, slender needles, which are usually grouped in bundles of five, and its large, edible seeds, often referred to as pine nuts.
This species thrives in well-drained, sandy soils and is often found in mountainous regions. Korean Pine is valued for its timber, which is used in construction and furniture making, as well as for its ecological role in providing habitat for various wildlife species.
