Korean Liberation Army
The Korean Liberation Army (KLA) was the military arm of the Korean Provisional Government, formed in 1940 during the struggle for Korea's independence from Japanese colonial rule. The KLA aimed to organize armed resistance against Japanese forces and sought international support for Korea's liberation.
The KLA operated mainly in China and was involved in various military campaigns during World War II. It played a significant role in raising awareness about Korea's plight and contributed to the broader anti-Japanese efforts. After Korea's liberation in 1945, the KLA's activities diminished as the country transitioned to independence.
