Konstantinos Karamanlis
Konstantinos Karamanlis was a prominent Greek politician and statesman, born on March 8, 1907. He served as the Prime Minister of Greece multiple times, first from 1955 to 1963 and later from 1974 to 1980. Karamanlis played a crucial role in modernizing Greece and promoting its integration into the European Economic Community.
In addition to his role as Prime Minister, Karamanlis was the founder of the New Democracy party, which aimed to establish a center-right political platform. He also served as the President of Greece from 1980 to 1985, contributing significantly to the country's political landscape until his death on April 3, 1998.
