Kingdom of Travancore
The Kingdom of Travancore was a prominent state in southern India, existing from the 18th century until 1949. It was located in the present-day state of Kerala and was known for its rich cultural heritage, including art, music, and dance. The kingdom was ruled by the Travancore royal family, who played a significant role in the region's development and modernization.
Under the leadership of rulers like Maharaja Marthanda Varma, Travancore became a center of trade and education.
