Kingdom of Siam
The Kingdom of Siam was a historical kingdom located in Southeast Asia, primarily in what is now Thailand. It existed from the 13th century until 1932, when it transitioned to a constitutional monarchy. The kingdom was known for its rich culture, trade, and interactions with neighboring countries, including China and India.
During its height, the Kingdom of Siam developed a unique identity, blending indigenous traditions with influences from Buddhism and Hinduism. The capital city, Ayutthaya, became a major center of commerce and diplomacy. In 1932, the kingdom officially changed its name to Thailand, meaning "Land of the Free."
