King Simeon II
King Simeon II, born on June 16, 1937, is a former monarch of Bulgaria. He became king at just six years old after his father, King Boris III, died in 1943. His reign was short-lived, as Bulgaria became a communist republic in 1946, leading to his exile.
After decades abroad, Simeon II returned to Bulgaria in 1996. He transitioned into politics and founded the National Movement for Stability and Progress, serving as Prime Minister from 2001 to 2005. His leadership focused on economic reforms and Bulgaria's integration into the European Union.
