King Moshoeshoe II
King Moshoeshoe II was the king of Lesotho from 1960 until his exile in 1990. He was born on May 2, 1938, and was the son of King Moshoeshoe I, the founder of the Basotho nation. His reign was marked by efforts to promote national unity and development in Lesotho.
After returning from exile, he was reinstated as king in 1991. His leadership faced challenges, including political instability and conflicts within the country. King Moshoeshoe II played a significant role in the cultural and political life of Lesotho until his death in 1996.
