King Manasseh
King Manasseh was a ruler of the ancient Kingdom of Judah, known for his long reign, which lasted 55 years. He is often remembered for his significant departure from the worship of Yahweh, the God of Israel, and for promoting idol worship, including the worship of Baal and Asherah. His actions led to widespread corruption and moral decline in the kingdom.
Despite his earlier misdeeds, Manasseh later repented and sought to restore the worship of Yahweh. He removed foreign idols and attempted to repair the damage done during his reign. His story is often seen as a lesson in redemption and the possibility of change.
