Hezekiah
Hezekiah was a king of Judah who reigned from around 715 to 686 BCE. He is known for his religious reforms, including the removal of idols and the restoration of worship at the Temple in Jerusalem. His reign is often seen as a time of spiritual renewal for the people of Judah.
During his rule, Hezekiah faced threats from the Assyrian Empire, particularly from King Sennacherib. He successfully defended Jerusalem against an Assyrian siege, which is described in the biblical books of 2 Kings and Isaiah. Hezekiah is remembered for his faith and leadership during a challenging period in Judah's history.
