Josiah
Josiah was a king of Judah who reigned from approximately 640 to 609 BCE. He became king at a young age and is known for his religious reforms, which aimed to restore the worship of Yahweh and eliminate pagan practices. His reign is often seen as a time of renewal for the Kingdom of Judah.
During his rule, Josiah discovered the Book of the Law in the temple, which led to significant changes in religious practices. He initiated a covenant renewal ceremony and ordered the repair of the temple, emphasizing the importance of following the laws outlined in the Hebrew Bible.
