King Letsie III
King Letsie III is the current monarch of Lesotho, a small landlocked country in southern Africa. He was born on July 17, 1963, and became king in 1997 after the death of his father, King Moshoeshoe II. Letsie III's role is largely ceremonial, as Lesotho is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system.
