King James III of Mallorca
King James III of Mallorca was a claimant to the throne of the Kingdom of Mallorca, which was a part of the Crown of Aragon. He was born in 1285 and was the son of James II of Mallorca. His reign was marked by political instability and conflict, particularly with the Crown of Aragon, which sought to reassert control over Mallorca.
James III's claim to the throne was contested, leading to a series of struggles for power. He ruled from 1296 until his death in 1349, but his reign was largely overshadowed by the larger political dynamics of the region, including the influence of Peter IV of Aragon.
