King Gyeongae
King Gyeongae was the 34th ruler of the Goryeo Dynasty in Korea, reigning from 1351 to 1356. He was known for his efforts to stabilize the kingdom during a time of internal strife and external threats. His reign was marked by attempts to strengthen the central government and improve relations with the Mongol Empire, which had significant influence over Korea at the time.
Despite his efforts, King Gyeongae faced challenges, including resistance from powerful local factions and the growing influence of the Red Turban Rebellion. His reign ended when he was overthrown, leading to a period of instability that eventually contributed to the decline of the Goryeo Dynasty.
