King Edward
King Edward refers to several historical figures in British history, most notably King Edward I, who ruled from 1272 to 1307. He is known for his military campaigns in Wales and Scotland, as well as for his efforts to reform the English legal system. Edward I earned the nickname "Longshanks" due to his tall stature and was also called the "Hammer of the Scots" for his aggressive tactics against Scotland.
Another significant figure is King Edward II, the son of Edward I, who reigned from 1307 to 1327. His reign was marked by internal conflict and struggles for power, leading to his eventual deposition. Edward II's rule is often remembered for his close relationship with Piers Gaveston, which caused political strife and dissatisfaction among the nobility.
