King Christian VII
King Christian VII was the monarch of Denmark and Norway from 1766 until his death in 1808. He was born on January 29, 1749, and became king at a young age. His reign was marked by mental health issues, which affected his ability to govern effectively. As a result, much of the power was held by his advisors, particularly the influential statesman Johann Friedrich Struensee.

His relationship with Struensee led to progressive changes, but it also resulted in political turmoil. Christian's legacy is a complex mix of personal struggles and societal progress.
