Struensee
Struensee was a Danish physician and politician who served as the de facto ruler of Denmark from 1770 to 1772. He is best known for implementing significant reforms aimed at modernizing the Danish government and society, including changes in education, law, and public health. His progressive ideas were influenced by the Enlightenment and sought to improve the lives of ordinary citizens.
Despite his initial popularity, Struensee's rule faced opposition from the nobility and other political factions.
