Keyboard Components
A keyboard consists of several key components that work together to input data into a computer. The main parts include the keys, which are the individual buttons that you press, and the switches beneath them, which register the keystrokes. Other important components are the circuit board, which connects the keys to the computer, and the case, which houses all these elements.
Additionally, keyboards may feature function keys for specific tasks, numeric keypads for quick number entry, and special keys like Shift and Ctrl that modify the input. Some keyboards also include LED lights for backlighting and USB connectors for easy connection to devices.
