Kettle Valley Railway
The Kettle Valley Railway (KVR) was a historic railway in British Columbia, Canada, built in the early 20th century. It connected the towns of Midway and Hope, traversing the scenic landscapes of the Okanagan Valley and Kootenay region. The railway was primarily used for transporting goods and passengers, playing a crucial role in the region's development.
Today, portions of the KVR have been converted into recreational trails, known as the Kettle Valley Rail Trail. This trail attracts hikers, cyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts, allowing them to explore the stunning natural beauty of the area while experiencing a piece of railway history.
