Keops Piramidi
The Keops Piramidi, also known as the Great Pyramid of Giza, is one of the most famous ancient structures in the world. Built around 2580–2560 BC during the reign of Pharaoh Khufu, it originally stood at 146.6 meters (481 feet) tall, making it the tallest man-made structure for over 3,800 years. The pyramid is part of a complex that includes two other pyramids and the Sphinx.
Constructed from approximately 2.3 million blocks of limestone and granite, the Keops Piramidi served as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu. It is the largest of the three pyramids on the Giza plateau and is the only surviving structure of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The pyramid's precise alignment and engineering continue to fascinate historians and archaeologists today.
