Kazakhstan Parliament
The Kazakhstan Parliament is the legislative body of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It consists of two chambers: the Senate and the Mazhilis. The Senate has 47 members, while the Mazhilis has 107 members. Together, they are responsible for making laws, approving the budget, and overseeing the government.
The Parliament meets in the capital city, Nur-Sultan, where it discusses and debates various issues affecting the country. Members of the Mazhilis are elected by the public, while Senate members are appointed by the President and regional assemblies. This structure helps ensure representation and governance in Kazakhstan.
