Kashyapa
Kashyapa is a revered sage in Hindu mythology, known for his wisdom and contributions to ancient texts. He is often associated with the Rigveda and is considered one of the seven great sages, or Saptarishi. Kashyapa is also recognized as the father of many important figures in Hindu lore, including the Devas (gods) and Asuras (demons).
In addition to his role as a sage, Kashyapa is linked to various creation myths. He is said to have married several daughters of Daksha, leading to the birth of numerous beings, including the Nagas (serpent beings) and Prajapatis (progenitors of mankind). His teachings and lineage play a significant role in Hindu cosmology.
