Kalta Minaret
The Kalta Minaret is an unfinished minaret located in Khiva, Uzbekistan. It was constructed in the 19th century and stands at a height of about 26 meters. The minaret is known for its striking turquoise tiles and intricate geometric patterns, which are characteristic of Islamic architecture.
Originally intended to reach a height of 70 meters, the Kalta Minaret was never completed due to the death of its patron, Muhammad Amin Khan. Despite its incomplete status, it remains a prominent landmark in Ichan Kala, the historic inner city of Khiva, attracting many visitors each year.
