Kallikrates was an ancient Greek architect known for his work on the Parthenon, a temple dedicated to the goddess Athena on the Acropolis of Athens. In addition to the Parthenon, Kallikrates is credited with designing the Temple of Athena Nike, a smaller temple located on the Acropolis.
