Kadamba tree
The Kadamba tree (Neolamarckia cadamba) is a tropical tree native to South Asia and parts of Southeast Asia. It is known for its fast growth and can reach heights of up to 30 meters. The tree features broad, glossy leaves and produces fragrant, round clusters of yellow-orange flowers that attract various pollinators, including bees and butterflies.
Kadamba trees are often found in forests and along roadsides, and they thrive in well-drained soils. The wood of the Kadamba tree is lightweight and is commonly used in making furniture and crafts. Additionally, the tree holds cultural significance in some regions, being associated with the Hindu deity Krishna.
