KCR
KCR, or K. Chandrashekar Rao, is an Indian politician and the founding leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party. He has served as the Chief Minister of Telangana since its formation in 2014, advocating for the rights and development of the newly created state. KCR played a significant role in the movement for Telangana's statehood, which was officially granted after years of protests and political negotiations.
Under KCR's leadership, the government has implemented various welfare schemes aimed at improving agriculture, education, and healthcare in Telangana. His administration is known for initiatives like the Rythu Bandhu scheme, which provides financial support to farmers, and the Kalyana Lakshmi program, aimed at supporting the marriage of girls from economically weaker families.
