Kızıl Kule
Kızıl Kule, or the Red Tower, is a historic structure located in Alanya, Turkey. Built in the 13th century during the reign of the Seljuk Sultanate, it served as a defensive fortification against naval attacks. The tower is notable for its distinctive red brick color and octagonal shape, standing at 33 meters tall.
The tower features a series of rooms and a staircase leading to the top, offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding area. Today, Kızıl Kule is a popular tourist attraction and part of the Alanya Castle complex, showcasing the region's rich history.
