Károlyi Mihály
Károlyi Mihály was a Hungarian politician and a key figure in the early 20th century. Born on March 4, 1875, he played a significant role during the aftermath of World War I, advocating for democratic reforms in Hungary. He became the first Prime Minister of the short-lived Hungarian Soviet Republic in 1919.
After the fall of the Soviet Republic, Károlyi faced political challenges and eventually went into exile. He returned to Hungary later in life and continued to be involved in politics until his death on March 20, 1955. His legacy is often associated with the tumultuous period of Hungarian history during and after the war.
